Tomorrow (Wednesday), school breakfast club staff from across Merthyr Tydfil, children and their parents will hold a lobby of Merthyr Council in protest at the authority’s decision to make massive cuts to school breakfast clubs which could result in redundancies.
The lobby, organised by UNISON, GMB and Unite, will take place at 3.30pm at Merthyr Tydfil Civic Centre. It is expected to be loud and colourful.
Trade union spokespeople will be available for interview.
