UNISON Cymru/Wales has more than 100,000 members in Wales working in public services. As the leading public sector union in Wales, we guide the way in the campaign to defend Welsh public services and public service workers.
Building the anti-cuts movement throughout Wales is at the heart of our work as a union. We continue to work with the Welsh government and other key organisations to protect Welsh public services and public service workers against savage cuts and privatisation.
We know that it will be public sector workers and public service users who will suffer as services come under attack from Westminster. UNISON will not stand by and let that happen.
UNISON’s strength in Wales is due to the dedication and drive of lay activists and branch officers who work in partnership with regional staff. Together, we are the guardians of Welsh public services.
I am proud to be part of such a vibrant organisation.
