UNISON Cymru/Wales Young Members Forum chair Nick Davies (pictured above) will be a key speaker at a Wales TUC event on recruiting young workers this week.
Nick will be talking tomorrow (Wednesday February 16) as part of Heart Unions Week which is an annual event designed to promote the benefits of being part of a trade union.
The 26-year-old will speak about how he assists young members in campaigning on issues that they are passionate about.
He said: “My role entails me leading the UNISON Cymru/Wales Young Members Forum, aiding young members in participating within the forum and working closely with UNISON staff to ensure the forum campaigns effectively on issue relating to young people, particularly in Wales.
“I am getting involved with this key event as it is important to ensure issues affecting young people are discussed during Heart Unions week.”
Jo Galazka, Unite Regional Women’s and Equalities Officer and Wales TUC Policy and Campaigns Support Officer Stanley Wai Hong Ho will also be speaking at the event which will run from 2-3pm.
