Responding to the publication of the interim report update on Cwm Taf maternity services, Paul Summers, UNISON Cymru Wales head of health said,
“The families affected by the failings at Cwm Taf may never get over their loss and they continue to have our sympathy.
“This should never happen again and therefore it is positive the oversight panel is widening its brief to identify other cases and it is absolutely vital members of the public and NHS staff can see progress being made to improve patient care and quality going forward.”
