This family friendly event is open to everyone and we hope to see a big trade UNISON presence – bring your banners!
The event will start with a parade from Nye Bevan’s House to bandstand at Bedwellty Park. The parade will be lead by the Tredegar Brass Band.
There are a range of guest speakers including our UNISON Cymru/Wales Regional Secretary – Dominic MacAskill.
The event will also see the debut of our new UNISON Cymru/Wales banner.
Running order:
- 10.30 – Assemble at Castle Street
- 11.00 – March to Bedwellty Park
- 12.00 – Speeches at Bedwellty
- 13.00 – Unveiling of plaque acknowledging NHS workers at Bedwellty house
