Know that every UNISON member and activist plays a vital role in building a better country for everyone who relies on the public services you provide.
Women have always been central to trade unions and the fight for a better society. To celebrate International Women’s Day we’ve put together a timeline of some of their key achievements
Let’s remember why we fight together to change our government and our country for the better. But let’s also remember the great, often unseen but absolutely vital, work that unions and trade unionists do unheralded each and every day. Those acts of representation, support and campaigning are the foundations on which our union is built. And there is so much of it to love.
In the months and years ahead, unions will once again fight for the rights of our members and all working people. For the rights we currently have and the rights we deserve. There will be future victories for our movement that will make the lives of millions better.
#heartunions was back for 2017 and the energy and enthusiasm of our members and activists did UNISON proud.
