UNISON’s City and County of Swansea branch will be the official main partner of Swansea Pride for the next three years.
Swansea PRIDE is an annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people across the region.
Chris Cooze, UNISON branch secretary said,
“Swansea Pride offers LGBT people, their friends, families and the whole of Swansea the chance to stand up and declare they are proud of who they are and we are proud of them.
“Campaigning for equality is at the heart of everything UNISON does. We know diversity makes Swansea a much better place to live and work. We must ensure everyone is accepted without exception in our communities and workplaces.
“Swansea Pride is a fantastic event and we are very pleased to be its main sponsor.”
